An Android device usually ships with a number of modes to help you modify and add new features to your device. One of the modes you find on your Android device is fastboot mode. Fastboot is part of the Android bootloader. This mode allows you to do tons of customizations to your device using your computer. Fastboot allows data to be written to the phone’s internal storage. This data can be a custom ROM, a custom kernel, or a recovery. It is used to flash images such as recoveries, bootloaders, and kernels to your Android device. Outside of the obvious, you can also restore nandroid backups, change your splash screen, and flash system updates. The meaning of the word Fastboot is “fast boot” and is an alternative to Recovery Mode. To enter fastboot mode, Turn off the phone completely. Press and hold the volume down and power keys at the same. ( Keep them pressed until orange text FASTBOOT appears on a black background.)However, it’s important to note that using Fastboot can be risky and can lead to data loss or even bricking your device if not done correctly, so it’s always recommended to follow proper procedures and precautions when using it.

If you have accidentally entered Fastboot mode on your phone and don’t know what to do, you can press the power button until device reboots. The Android device will vibrate once and then restart. when you do that the phone will restart to system automatically.
If your phone hangs in Fastboot mode and doesn’t want to start into the MIUI operating system, try exiting it a few more times by pressing the power button for 10 seconds or you can use another method >> reset to factory settings via Recovery.
