Open the Paint (mspaint.exe) app.

Now, use the color picker to pick the color of your choice. Next, note down the “RGB” values of the color. Example, my RGB value is “90, 255, 64.”

The registry’s “Colors” key includes two string values you can adjust to change the color of the text in Windows.

Now please Open Registry Editor. ( Open the Run Window by pressing Win+R, and type regedit.)

Go to the following path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors

Double-click on the “HilightText” string. Type the RGB value in the “Value data” field.

And Double-click on the “Hilight” string. Type the RGB value in the “Value data” field.
