How To Change Windows 11 Start Menu & Taskbar Color Easily

By default, the Start menu uses black or white color but Microsoft allows you to change the Start menu background also, Before changing the Start menu color of Windows 11, make sure that your copy of Windows is activated because Microsoft does not allow you to personalize your PC on an inactive Windows.
Open Run dialog and run one of the following code.
ms-settings:colors ms-settings:personalization-colors
Personalization > colors settings will open, Now, scroll down to the bottom on the right-side pane and turn the toggle On next to Show accent color on Start and taskbar option. If Show Accent Color on Start menu Option Grayed Out , probably you are using White Theme
The option to turn on or off the Accent Color remains disabled in the Settings while the Light mode is active. You can change the color of your Taskbar by turning on the Accent Color in Windows 11. By using this Registry Method, you can turn the Accent Color on or off even if the Light mode is active.
Change Windows 11 Start Menu And Taskbar Color On Light Theme
1. Open the Registry Editor.
2. Go to a following path in the Registry Editor.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize
3. Select the “ColorPrevalence” Registry Value and change its Value from “0” to “1”
Now, the Start menu and taskbar will wear the ascent color which you have selected, The changes are immediately, and no need to restart your Windows 11 computer.
After turning this feature on, you can set different colors to the Start Menu and the Taskbar via Settings. You can use the script below to make your job easier.
Change Windows 11 Start Menu And Taskbar Color On Light Theme Via .vbe file
Just download the Taskbar_color.rar file at the end of the page (password:ceofix) and Unzip it.
Then simply double-click on the Taskbar_color.vbe file Confirm the User Account Control dialog if prompted.
It will show a pop-up window with the text “Start Menu & taskbar Color has been changed” just Click ok button.
2- If you want to apply the default color of the taskbar, simply double-click on the Taskbar_color.vbe file User Account Control (UAC) window can popup and asks you if you want to allow it, Click ok to proceed.
It will show a pop-up window with the text “Start Menu & taskbar Color has been reset to default” just Click ok button.
