This article explains how to turn Default Print Service on or off.
For Android 8 and above, there is a way to no longer need any service other than Android OS and instead use “Default Print Service” to print with an Android phone. These outside services include Google’s Cloud Print, HP, Canon, Xerox, & several others. However, having this service turned on can increase battery consumption.
How to Turn On or Off the Default Print Service
With modern Wi-Fi-enabled printers, Android will detect your printer if both devices are on the same local network. To do this, open the Android Settings app and then tap Bluetooth device Connection.
Just go the settings and search for “Printing” then turn “Default Print Service” (OFF) or (on) .
Note: Finding “Default Print Service” in android may vary with different phones.
Location1: Settings -> Advanced -> Printing.
That’s all.
