This article will walk you through how to block apps from having permission to read or send messages.
In Windows 10 Some apps can access your messages By default but If you are concerned about your privacy, you might want to block some of the apps to access your messages. (For example ; People , Skype , Cortana…) Starting with Windows 10 build 17063, you can now allow or deny Windows 10 and apps access to messaging on your device. Messaging privacy settings is part of the Settings application therefore we will use settings App. Here’s how to do it.
Prevent apps to access messages in Windows 10
– Open Settings, and click on the Privacy icon.
– Choose Messaging.- On the left side, click on the Change button and turn On (default) or Off. Of course Instead of denying Messaging access permission for all apps, you can disable it for certain apps individually.
Prevent apps to access messages with one click

2- Then simply double-click on the Block_Messages_access.vbe file Confirm the User Account Control dialog if prompted.
3- It will show a pop-up window with the text “Apps Access to Your messages have been disabled” just Click ok button.
First click will disable Apps Access to Your messages.
Second click will allow Apps Access to Your messages.
Ok. Thats all.
Note: When you disable Messaging access for the entire operating system, it will be automatically disabled for all apps as well
