Microsoft Edge supports having multiple profiles each having their own individual identities, favorites, settings, and extensions.
Browser user profiles are ideal for families where multiple people use the same user account. User profiles let multiple people use the same web browser. Instead of switching to a separate account each time someone wants to access their personalized browser, each family member can create a new browser profile that stores everything they want.
Prevent users from adding new profile in Microsoft Edge
If you want to prevent users from adding a new profile in Microsoft Edge,You can block other users from creating a new profile using the Registry Editor in Windows 10.
Method 1: Use Registry tweak
1- Search for and open Registry Editor on your computer. ( For that, you can press Win+R, type regedit, and hit the Enter button. )
2- Now go to following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft
3- Under the Microsoft key, you need to create a new sub-key. For that, right-click on the Microsoft key, and select New Key. After that, name it as Edge.
4- Create a DWORD (32-bit) Value under Edge key and its name should be “BrowserAddProfileEnabled“. By default, the value should be set as 0, and you do not need to change.

Tip: If you want to add a new profile in the Edge browser, you need to remove the BrowserAddProfileEnabled DWORD value.
Method 2: Use .vbe file
1- We have coded a script to make your job easier, just download the script at the end of the page (password:ceofix) and Unzip it.
2- Then simply double-click on the No_Edge_Profil.vbe file Confirm the User Account Control dialog if prompted.
3- It will show a pop-up window with the text “Adding new profile in Microsoft Edge has been prohibited
For changes to take effect, Do you want restart EDGE” just Click yes button.
if you want to add a new profile in the Edge browser, Second click will allow No_Edge_Profil.vbe file
