Notepad is a basic plain text editor that you can use to create simple documents.
Microsoft Notepad is included with all versions of Windows and can be used to find text in plain text files.
Find text within a text file
While in Notepad, perform one of the following actions you want to for search and find text.
1- Press the Ctrl + F keys. Or Click on Edit on the menu bar, and click on Find. ( You can watch the how to video which located at the end of the article)
2- Now, you need to type that desired text in the Find what box.
3- Select the Direction. And click the Find Next button to get all the found texts one after one.
Also, Check or uncheck the Match case box for what you want and check or uncheck the Wrap around box for what you want.
