Windows 10 allows users to take a screenshot with the Win+PrintScrn keyboard shortcut. It works in all versions of Windows: On your keyboard, press the PrtScn (Print Screen) key. Windows creates a screenshot of the whole screen and saves it to the clipboard. But, it’s difficult to confirm if the desired screen space was grabbed when. Don’t wory! You can add a sound to the Print Screen Key so that every time you press it to capture a screen sound, it will make voice on your Windows PC.
2-Way to Add Sound to PrntScrn Key
Method 1 : Via regedit ( manual)
1- Press the Win+R keyboard shortcut to open the Run box.
2- In the Empty field of the box, type ‘Regedit’ and press Enter.
3- Go to the following key.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\.Default
4- Right-click the ‘Default’ key and select ‘New’ > ‘Key’
5- Name the value SnapShot.
Ok. You can Exit Registyr.
Now We can Enable Sound Alert for Screenshots in Windows
1- Press the Win+R keyboard shortcut to open the Run box.
2- Type the following, and press ‘Enter’
rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL mmsys.cpl ,2
3- In the Program Events list, scroll through the Windows events and find Notifications. Look for Snapshot under it.
4- When found, click it and open the ‘Sounds’ dropdown.
5- Select one of the preset sounds that are available on Windows 10. If you’d like to use a custom sound for the screenshot, you should download it and convert it to the WAV format and select it from the Sounds dropdown.
6- When done, click the ‘Apply’ button.
Hereafter, when you tap the PrntScrn key, the sound will play.
Method 2: Via only run the regedit key
1- Download the print-screen-sound.rar file to your computer. And extract the files.
2- Right click on the add-sound.reg file and select Merge. Confirm the User Account Control dialog if prompted.
3- Click Yes to continue.
4- Registration entries are successfully added to Registry. Click OK.
Again, later on, if you want to remove the sound, then run the default.reg file
