Go to your Twitter page and find the Tweet you want to remove. Click on the little, downward facing arrow on the right side. Tap on “Delete Tweet” option. Finally, click Delete to confirm everything.
Here are some other important things to note:
-You can only delete your tweet and not one of the others.
-Twitter doesn’t have the tweet bulk delete feature.
-When you delete your tweet, the retweets of that tweet will get deleted. If someone retweets your tweet with their comment, then that tweet will not get deleted when you remove your tweet.
Also, remember: a tweet is forever, even if it’s been deleted. Once a tweet has been sent out, there’s the possibility that it’s been retweeted or that someone has taken a screen capture. So, although you can delete a tweet, it’s much better to spend a little time reviewing your tweets before you send them out to avoid a permanent stain on your personal or professional brand.
